Qvs crashing

Hi All,

I need a help on the Performance!!!

I have an application size of around 200MB... and having an pivot table which have the rows around 5lk..

When an application is opened in the accesspoint... Qvs is getting down and Ram size increazed to 40gb...

Is this the application issue or do we need to check the QVS server settings?

I just need to understand where it is going wrong...

That sounds like you should redesign your pivot table. See this blog post: Recipe for a Memory Statistics analysis

I need to understand one thing here.

If an object is consuming lot of memory, then we should get out of memory issue or will the QVS go's down?

Hi,

At one point of time QlikView server stop responding.

I would suggest you to take all calculations to backed as much as you can.

Avoid using distinct in front end.

Use 3 tier architecture to develop your QlikView Application.

have a look at below post.

Hi!

Object out of memory is different than server running out of memory.

Since your application isn't too big and pivot has few lines there is probably something wrong with pivot-table.
