Accessing Server and Opening Documents

Hi all,

I am currently accessing our remote QV server with a specific named login unique to myself. When I attempt to open a QV document from the server it opens in Personal Edition and I always get the attached message. A colleague, who does exactly the same process of logging in doesnt encounter the same issue and their documents open with x64 reseller at the top of the Qlikview window. We both have named user cals.

Can anyone shed any light on what is happening or how i make the change?

Thanks

James

Whilst remoted on the server

Open Qlikview

Click on open in server

open a Qlikview document

This should relicense your Session. Now if you have borrowed a licence from the server on another machine for the same user then it revokes it this is why it may give you this issue

Technically yes, but iv seen this intermittent problem in some places where RDPs are used.
