ServerObjectHandler

Is it a good idea to let the end user run the ServerObjectHandler utility to maintain server objects?  What kind of rights would they need at the server level to access the qvw document using the utility?

Hi

If you mean letting users access the PowerTool to change ServerObjects than my answer would be no.

This is not a good idea, this means users could potentially corrupt or totally mess up the shared files and cause a lot of problems for other users. The rights they would need are read and write permission on the shared file containing the objects. Not sure if you need to be part of the QlikView Administrators group or not.
