Hi Fernando - the BETA had a pretty straight forward hookup to openstreetmaps.

The GA version (1.0) is more powerful but you need to refer to the help for samples of how you enter the URL:

https://help.qlik.com/sense/en-US/online/#../Subsystems/WorkingWith/Content/Visualizations/Map/Map.h...

Here is a snippet from the help link:

Adding a background map

If , for example, you have added a point layer with the major cities in the world, you normally want to have a background map to show the context.

Do the following:

  1. In the toolbar, click @Edit.
  2. In the properties panel to the right, click Background.
  3. Click the Show button. The button is set to On.
  4. From the list below, copy a URL and paste it in the URL text box.
  5. From the list below, copy the attribution string that corresponds to the URL and paste the string in the Attributionbox.

Slippy map servers

NameURLAttribution string
OpenStreetMaphttp://tile.openstreetmap.org/${z}/${x}/${y}.png&copy; <a href='http://www.openstreetmap.org/copyright' target='_blank'>OpenStreetMap</a> contributors

You can get, and contribute, to a great selection of extensions created so far at http://branch.qlik.com/

Well, the great news is that in Qlik Sense, Mapping with OpenStreetMap is out of the box - no extension required

You can find the Qlik tutorial video on Mapping from Michael Tarallo here: http://community.qlik.com/videos/2031

help.qlik.com is a good place to start. The above link is valid for v2.1
