URL Back slash

Hi Community,

While mailing the bookmark we get a back slash. The back slash is not supported by server and URL gives error.

If I give %5C instead of the back slash, it works.

Is there a solution to this?

Has anyone faced this.

Looks like something to do with URL re-writing.

What version of Qlikview do you have and what client are you using ( Ajax or Plug-in)?

I just tested this and my bookmark is

http://192.168.10.50/QvAJAXZfc/opendoc.htm?document=Films.qvw&bookmark=Server\BM08-50

There is a back slash and it works on my system.

Are you using SiteMinder?

There is a custom SSO solution that does not respect back slash.

Hi,

Then you will need to exclude the back slash in the SSO solution. SiteMinder will allow the back slash, but has default setup of not allow double back slash and these are used with image files.
