Join - is it advisable to comine several join_fields into a compound_key?

Hi,

my question is pretty much summed up in the title:

=> I have two tables that I need to join on the Item_No and the Track_No to associate the times uniquely.

=> Should I combine those two fields into a compound_key? Is that more efficient than just leaving QlikView to join on two separate fields?

Hi,

Use composite key with autonumber function for better performance.
