Hi Amir - the error message is misleading I am afraid. You cannot have any QlikView Server products installed on the same system with the Qlik Sense platform. You can however have Qlik Sense Desktop installed and QlikView Personal / Desktop installed.

I believe your problems is related to the QlikView.Next installation which is in sense - Qlik Sense before the name change.

Please uninstall QlikView .Next and you should be ok.

Hi.

Please see if you have those folders

C:\Program Files\Qlik\Sense

C:\ProgramData\Qlik\Sense

Maybe if you have and rename it can solve your problem.

Hello Amir - check these locations as well:

  • C:\Users\<user profile>\Documents\Qlik\Sense
  • C:\Users\<user prof>\AppData\Local\Temp\QlikSenseBrowser<version>
  • C:\Users\<user prof>\AppData\Local\Temp\QlikSenseBrowserCache

IF you completely uninstalled - using Add remove programs - then you should not get this error, unless you had some sort of issue.

Also verify you are running a 64-bit Windows O/S - it is assumed - but just checking.
