Start program/process on accesspoint user machine

Do we have any ability to start a process / program on the acccesspoint user end machine? I want them to be able to click and object...and run a local process outside of the browser to talk to our CRM (goldmine.)

We have an API that links our phone system to Goldmine (CRM)...I want to be able to piggy back off that and let them open a contact file directly from accesspoint. Any ideas?

Hi David, do you want to run a local process from the acces point or desktop in qlikview?

it is very different one to other, and if you want to do from acces point would be difficult

Hello!

If you create a button and set in: Action -> Type Action-> External. You can call an external application.

Locally on the accesspoint user end (in IE )

Running into some issues, when i put the filepath to the ".exe" on the users machine...doesn't open up the program...
