SvgReader mapping extension now stored on GitHub

Hi everyone,

Several different incarnations of my svgReader extension exist out there on community, hidden on QlikMarket, etc. and it's difficult making updates and pointing people to the most recent version.  Also, I plan on making some major enhancements to it soon, and I want to make sure people know where to go to get the latest and greatest version.

So, I've decided to start hosting the extension on GitHub:

I'll be making all bug fixes and enhancements within this repository so please download the extension from here from now on.

Also, I greatly encourage you to add your own SVG maps to the repository so we can all benefit from the maps people have been making.

Good job with the SVG Reader.

I used it with excellent results, but I have a little problem using more than one color.

Hi,

It should now be easier to blend two colors also with the more recent version of this extension.  In the properties there is now a "cold" color which represents the baseline lower values.

Hey Brian, There seems to be an issue when i use this extension on two different sheets. After placing the objects in separate sheets, if i navigate to a third sheet after having seen them already, the map goes blank.. i need to turn off/on webview before i can see them again.. help?

I can't put up the qvw because of compliance issues.

i am using the svgmap extension, i need to change the position of the image inside of chart, i have to modify the script.js file or the .svg file?

Hi Brian:

I've instaled this newer version, I have two problem and one question.

The problem is I want to use calculated colors in 'Disable Color' and 'Base Color' option but the extension doesn't remember these calcutaltions.

The second problem is I want to paint in blue the top five items and in orange the rest using this expresion

IF (Rank(Sum(Visits)) <= 5, eColorPrincipal, eColorSecondary)

eColorPrincipal = RGB(0, 88, 160)

eColorSeconday = RGB(255, 102, 0)

... but some top 5 values are showed in white and some not top five values are showed in white too !!!!

The question is: I use calculated colors for color expresion, but can I use RGB(255,102,0) instead #FF6600 ?

Same problem here.

It works fine at first. When I change the sheet and come back and it shows an ocean/sea/only background.

Does anyone have a solution?

I down loaded svg extension.I created india map.it does not show Bihar,chhattisgarh remaing states it shows good.

Please help me.
