Qlik Sense Hub can not be accessed via Ipad

Hi,

I have a Qlik Sense server running, can access the Hub via my desktop machine. Whenever I try to open the Hub on my Ipad, I login successfully and then get a popup stating: "An error occurred" Connection lost. Make sure Qlik Sense is running.....

In QMC, I have added the server name (external, internal ip) to the Whitelist, but to no avail.

On an older Ipad (Version 3), I could access the Hub, but not on a Version 4 Ipad (neither on the internal browser, nor on the Chrome).

Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Martin

Ipad 4 had IOS 8.0.2?

Support confirmed to me there is a bug at the moment with IOS 8.0.2, they are looking at it.

Hi Jochem,

yes, it's IOS 8.0.2. So I assume there is no workaround at the moment?

Thanks,
Martin

I have the same issue

error message.PNG.png

Tested on

- iPad AiR iOS 8.0.2

- iPhone5 with iOS 8.0.2

- iPhone 4 with iOS 7

- Samsung Galaxy (2 types)

All have the same error message.

Is since version 1.0.0.

All beta's I have tested didn't had this problem.

Proxy settings are correct.

You would need a signed certificate for the iPad to access the hub in SSL mode.  I think that the security was tightened in the release of iOS 8.0.2 .

The hub and apps works fine on https://sense-demo.qlik.com/ ( has a signed certificate) with:

iPhone 5s iOS 8.0.2 Safari

iPad Air 8.0.2 Safari

iPad 2 iOS 8.0.2 Safari

Android 4.4.4 Native browser (Chrome)

Kristofer,

What you mean by signed certificate? do we have to install that some where?

i tried the sense demo site with iphone 6 iOS 8.0.2 and it doesn't work.
