Lost connection to Server issue in Qlikview Server 11

Hi all,

I am getting a lost connection to server.. reconnecting...

Please let me know what all settings need to be checked. Or it is a Network problem.

The application is not heavy at all.

The issue has been resolved.

The reason for that error was that we were using the same username from different locations.

As we were doing development so we had just one Admin username being used by the developer as well as the End users for validation.

As soon as new user names were created for the end users for validation the issue did not come up.

It seems its because the Qlikview server doesnt allow one license to be used at two locations simultaneously and thats fair else the customers would just buy one license and exploit the usage had it been not for this error.

QMC->System->Setup->QVS->Performance->Sessions->Maximum Inactive Session Time

Do you get the "Lost Connection" box after a random period of time, or does it happen after a fixed amount of time (e.g. 30 minutes is the default expiration)? The first situation may point to a connectivity problem.

Best,

Peter

The connection issue comes after random time... So seems to be a Connectivity Issue from Network side.

If Qlikview Server Architecture is 2 Servers in an Active/Passive Mode, working with IIS

And URL used is a VIP (Virtual Address) which load balanced by testing port 80 under WebServer,

This message NO CONNECTION or CONNECTION LOST , RECONNECTING TO SERVER

may appear if IIS still started on passive node.
