Wildcards in field name?

Hello,

I'm loading several tabs from 1 excel sheet by looping them and concatenate them in FACTS.

This works fine if all fields on all tabs are exactly the same, but that is not the case.

One column on every sheet has a different name e.g. [Amount (EUR)], [Amount (MYR)], [Amount (USD)].

What I want to do is something like this:

load [Amount (*)] as Amount

or

load [Amount (???)] as Amount

but that is not working. Does anybody have an idea?

Thanks in advance.

Regards,

Alexander

In the case where Order is not same, then there is another solution little lengthy though.

Step1 :  Load all the tables in the loop.

Step 2: Use the RENAME command option to change all Amount (*) to same field name "Amount".

Thanks,

Madhu

Load without labels and use columns like A, B, C ...

So you have

Load

A as myfield1,

B as myfield2,

C as ...

For this solution, the order of columns across all the tabs in excel should be same.

Hi, that is not the case.
Yes all column names are the same but not in the same order.
