Can I export object properties from QlikView?

Hi,

I would like to export the properties from different objects from my qvw-file. I would like to get as much data as possibly but the table below contains a minimum.

Is this possibly?

You can try to use the ExportLayout function.

You can use this function in three different ways:

1- create an empty folder named in the same way of your qvw, but wih "-prj" suffix instead of ".qvw", then save the document (e.g. mydoc.qvw document--> mydoc-prj folder).

2- click on File menu, Export, then select the "Export Document Layout..." item

3- use the ExportLayoutFile Desktop Api as follow:

ActiveDocument.ExportLayoutFile "c:\AppLayout.xml"

Both points 1 and 2, generates one xml file for each object, and a different file for each specific content type (e.g. script, binary data, etc...).

The 3rd one, generates only one xml file.

Hi,

I only get the webpage belove when I followed your link and I can’t find any place to download the Dashboard.

I have also tried to follow the download.qlik.com link but I can’t find the Dashboard at any place.

Its available in Qlikview Download site.

I just check it.

To download that you need to be a qlik partner or customer.
