Data load hangs on local folder

I am having an issue with Sense Server where a simple data load from local folder just hangs. I can create the connection, review the schema of a file, insert the script, but when I hit load data the process just spins, elapsed time keeps counting but the load never completes. Things i have checked include:

  • I have an ODBC connection that works on the server
  • I have checked file permissions, I am logged into the Hub as the same local/admin user who owns the install
  • I have tried same with another user who is a ContentAdmin
  • if i try to load a log file, via the existing data connection which come with the server, it hangs as well

Config:

     VM running on GCE

     Windows 2008 Server R2

     Engine log level - debug

logs attached

thanks, bob

I think so Sunil. I noticed this morning that if i use the Debug capability of Sense and do a limited load by row, I can get the load to complete.

Are you running on the zgoogle Compute Platform (GCE) as well?

But later on even that wont load ,even at initial stages itself data was not started to load and not saving the script it happens when i have started reloading data .

I'm using normal internet(Google) working thought client server environment.

Hey Bob - have you informed Qlik support about this issue?

Mike

As of now we moved script into other server with limited data and loaded fine. Do you have an idea how to copy dashboards sheets into new instance server.

Please let me know what qlik support suggested to you on that issue..

You can export full app as QVF from old server and import it on new one.

just open https://oldserver/qmc/apps select app -> More Action -> export

https://newserver/qmc/apps press Import and follow wizard steps.

my issue is definitely NOT related to the size of the file being loaded, it fails on a log file with only 30 lines of text. I have tried this on multiple GCE instances as well.
