Hi Jonathan!

See the logs attached, now they are there.

I looked the services and all was started.

The Windows server version is 2008 R2

Thank you!

michele - can you copy/paste the URL you are using to hit the QMC ?   The proxy log is saying the following URLS should be valid. Perhaps you can try the last one ?

https://srv-hu-bi02.unimed-vs.localdomain/qmc

https://localhost/qmc

https://SRV-HU-BI02/qmc

Couple other questions:

-is the 'QlikView' account a member of the administrators group on the local machine ?

-Also, you may be logged into the server as a different account when you install the software, if so i have a couple other questions: 1)  are you logged in as a member of the administrators group  2) when you removed the certificates following the uninstall, did you log in as the QlikView account to remove the certificates ?

Hi Jonathan!

Yes, the "Qlikview" account is a member of the administrators group on the local machine, and I used this account when installed qlik sense.

Ok thanks.

The error still seems to be tied to certificates and i wanted to 2x check that after the uninstall you were able to locate and delete ALL 3 of the certificates correct ?

The next thing i'd like to search is the EVENT VIEWER logs on windows. You can see them from the control panel/administative tools.  Search the application and security logs for any errors pertaining to the Qlik Sense services. You may want to bounce (restart) the 5 qlik sense services to see if they generate any errors.

Other questions... you'll need all of these ports open on the machine:   443,4244,4243,80,4248

I'd also like to know if you have CHROME browser installed and if not, it you are willing to install it and test the URL to the QMC in chrome... it sometimes yields more meaningful error messages than IE.

Ps:  if you can it might be worth opening a ticket with support, ideally we would just webex through an uninstall, cleanup, reinstall for an hour or so but i don't think i can dedicate the time myself.

well that is heartening .. thanks

Michelle - just wondering if you had an update . Otherwise, perhaps can you explain more about the platform you are using... Amazon, in house server ,  VM etc...   Any other software installed on the machine ?  That kind of thing..
