Is it possible to handle the .qvd files in the QMC repository in a similar way as connections?

If it is not I guess I still have to create a catalog outside the QMC where .qvd –making .qvf places the files to be imported in other apps.

Right the second sentence ... create a qvd layer with all the tables you use then access qvf from app.
