can we check the columns of a file before loading

Hi Friends,

I have Fixed length text file need to validate the columns.

Lets say from [1:2] column is blank I need to record the column row and column number.

Like this I need to check all the columns and record where there are blanks.

Then I will send the recorded blanks to the user. The user fills the balnks then we need to load the file.

There is an application to see the data that is present in the QVD called as QViewer. You can download it and see the data and it has a limited functionality depending on the size of the QVD.
