What is the best way to load data when the data source is huge like huge tables?

Would it be better to create QVDs and load the tables or load it via buffer or incremental load or partial load? What do you suggest?

How about Buffer or is it the same like incremental?

BUFFER is the same as incremental only when loading from text files. If loading from database, BUFFER will do a full reload and therefore will not give any performance improvement.
