how to show $ sign in axis without using Static min/max option

i need to show dollar sign against every value in y axis.

i dont want to use the satic min /max  optiion as i also require the axis to dynamically change with the selections made

please suggest.

Have you tried in Number format option under Chart Properties?

i have that only changes the data labels

i have got the $ sign in data labels but have not been able to do so in the axis without using static min /max option which i dont intend to use
