QlikView Tasks Failures

Hi

I have an issue on one of my scheduled QlikView tasks.

I have a task which is scheduled every 30 mins. It normally runs fine without any error but I got an error once and then it is running fine now. Weird!

I have tried to troubleshoot this but I cannot find an absolute reason for this problem and it seems as if the problem has been resolved.

Would anyone know why this is happening? Any thoughts to how this can be monitored and possibly resolved?

maybe it was a problem with failure to connect to a data source that you are using in your document.

Rajesh,

Might be because of :

• Connection with the database got failed.
• QlikView Engine was not available to reload the task in 30 mints of your trigger.

Also please check log file.

Hi,

I would suggest, you go to the task history option and select the date when the task failed (based on the status -failed)

and review the task log to understand where it failed, did the script fail or the distribution or any other reason.
