Accounting calendar how to join with master calendar

I have created a ship date calender and I need to connect the company's accounting calendar somehow to be used for monthly reporting?

Could you share the script used to create a ship date calendar as well as a snippet of the current accounting calendar ? 

It usually involves mapping calendar month-years to fiscal-month-years . Not difficult but a ready sample will depend on the way the data calendars have been made.
