Two Qlikview Servers with different Versions

We have two seperate installations of Qlikview Server. Version 8.5 is used in our European location and 9.0 used in the USA.

We have users who need to access reports on both servers.

We are using the IE plug-in client for access. Is it possible to use one version of the plugin for both servers?

So I decided to first just try to replace the executable... QVPluginSetup.exe with SR4. So I downloaded the SR4 version from Qlikview site and it comes as QVPluginRedist.exe - not sure how to get the executable....

I tried installing this Redist.exe into another directory, but it does not seem to contain the QVPluginSetup.exe

What am I missing? How do I just get a copy of the plugin (QVPluginSetup.exe)? The desktop version install does not seem to contain this file either....

Just rename the redist file to QvPluginSetup.exe
