NPrinting - environment variables - framework

Hi

I have a customer that will implement NPrinting and the customer will make the NPrinting reports them self.  My issue is that the customer does not have access to the QlikView source code. They will get a local copy of the source code for the NPrinting development.

for this to work it will be necessary to change the paths to the documents in the Source before you pass the NPrinting file in production. The same must be done for the templates. You can use environment variables to make this process easier.

Is the Deployment framework able to support this in any way? Is there anyone who has some experience with this?

Hi Lars, If everyone in the chain uses QDF it will probably work.  Files that are referenced in the application should be stored in the one container (same as the application), then just copy the hole container between environments.
