Moving Log Files

I am configuring Governance Dashboard in an environment that I inherited.

I have a clustered environment where each of the 2 QlikviewServers are writing log files to a folder locally on the box they are running on.  I believe that is because the Log Folder location is not pointing to a share, Am I correct? See below.

If I were to change that Log Folder setting to a share, would that change affect both of the clustered QlikvierServers?

I know that the share structure would need to exist before making the change, and the related QlikView services would also need to be restarted on each box.

I would also move the existing log files to the new location (share).

Hi Bob, what you said is correct, but I'm not sure what your problem is. If you are now saving your logs locally in each server, just replace that local path to your share folder path.

I just wasn't sure it was that easy.

I am a newbie to QV.  I was put into a Admin role with no experience or training.
