Hey people, please stop posting copyrighted works on Qlik Community. You're not doing anybody a service here, not the authors, not the requestors and certainly not all of the community members that are putting their faith and energy in a great social network that is currently in violation of copyright law in almost every country.

Moreover, please do pay a visit to the publisher, Packt Publishing (packtpub.com). For christmas, they put up all ebooks for only $5 which is as good as free. QlikView Server and Publisher by Stephen Redmond is included as well.

I fully agree with Peter's comments.

Please can we stop uploading copyrighted material? Please think about the effort it takes to write or work on a book. I've personally worked on reviewing few books and it's lot of hard work. And this is no different to piracy!! Uploading the copyrighted material is bad for everyone. Please don't show disrespect to the author and publisher for the sake of community points. I'm sure StephenMalam and Packt will be disappointed to see this...I request you remove the attachment ASAP. After all it costs less than 2-3 beers or coffees!!

Yes, I am pretty disappointed, but not surprised.

In this age, nobody reads EULAs or Copyright notices. It is too much work and it is easier to just click "yes" or email a file without thinking.

I presume that the poster probably didn't come by the PDF by legitimate means so, as they didn't have to put their hand in their own pocket they assume that they can just redistribute for free - not considering that he is putting his hand in my pocket.

I guess that I have to believe that anyone who would just download it for free and make use of it wouldn't buy it anyway. Those who are more honest will buy it.  Especially as you can buy it from Packt this week for $5.

If you want the eBook, QlikView Server and Publisher, then it costs $5 at the moment because of a special offer for the holidays from Packt.
