Exporting to Excel changes Date format to Text String??

Hello Experts,

I am facing an issue since yesterday. One of my reports have date columns and are in format 'DD-MM-YYYY' but when this reported is exported to excel the date is converted to Text string, which makes it unusable for further calculations.

I have tried every possible way which i could think of and I am sure that this is a bug. I want a confirmation from you guys.

Hi,

Go to Help tab->Click on About Qlikview (You get new window)->right click on Qlikview Icon (left bottom)->You get setting window->select ExcelExportMixedAsText->set its value to 0 from 1

upgrade to QV 11.2SR9.
