Hi Janaki,

I think in the number tab your choosing the expression format as % that's why the result is coming like this.

try like this in the expression.

tick the relative option in the expression tab this will solve the issue

its seems no relation between Data you have provided and screen shot

as its showing jan 10 dec09 feb 10 and screen shot its showing 2013 and 2014

it should be 20 10 and 2009  if  we condisder  10 ,09 as year.

but if we consider it as month then also there should be either 2013 or 2014

or share the date

or you could use sum(Loss %)/sum(total Loss %)

Hi Janaki

What this shows is that you data is somehow not related, basically when you are using a pie chart, its proportionally partion your data accordingly. from this      dec09-- loss 86%

                                                                   jan10--  loss  83%

                                                                   Feb10--- loss  70%

you are suppose to have 2009 and 2010, then your pie chart should interpret your expression as (sum(2009)/sum(total)) for the year 2009, and (sum(2010)/sum(Total)) for the year 2010, as you are working with %, you will have 23.4% for 2009 and 76.6% for 2010 represented in your chart.

this is just an overview of how this are suppose to be represented in your chart, to get a precise answer plz provide us with a sample data.

Hope this helps.

Kind Regards

Dlamini
