DSC Service Down

Hi Friends,

I am facing the issue is DSC service is going to down , when i was searching users in Users Tab i am getting users when i click on users name it is going to down.

Please find the attachement errorr message.

Can any one help me.

Could you tell which version of QlikView server your using?

The Directory Service Connector has a log file of its own. It is located (usually) on your server in:

C:\ProgramData\QlikTech\DirectoryServiceConnector\Log

The log caontains more details about this problem. Can you please do the following?

1. In QMC->System->Setup->Directory Service Connector->General->Logging Level, select Debug Logging and press Apply.
2. In QMC, go to the User Selection dialog that is causing problems, and do the trick that brings the DSC down
3. Use Windows explorer to navigate to the log file directory and locate the log of the current day. The date is contained in the file name. Open that file.
4. Go to the end. Copy and Paste the stuff about this problem to this thread.

Note: do not forget to restart the DSC and put the logging level back to what it was before.
