Hi All,

Can anyone suggest me how to show a gif file (Animated image) in a text object.

Thanks.

Well, now there is. Animated GIFs were broken in Desktop releases from SR6 until SR9. Qlik has fixed the issue in 11.20SR10, so animation is working again.

In the general tab of the text box select Image (left bottom) then click on "modify" and select your gif.

Import it as a background image in your text object (General tab, bottom left)

Images will not be animated anymore, however. That feature disappeared from QlikView Desktop a long time ago. Sorry.
