I am going through how to use Jmeter with QLikview and i am stuck somewhere having following heading:

1: Customise recorded script to load test qlikview -> Pg.15

2: Configure path to files with random series.

Can you help me in this , what does it mean??

Hello,

I am not sure what you mean in you second question, but the invalid objects extractor and poll string builder should be put both under the first poll request as well as in the loop with poll requests.

See figure 11 on page 24 in the documentaion for a good view of what it should look like.

Yeah i see to it and working on it.

One question i would like to know, apart from SummaryReport , how can oi see the cPU consumtion , RAM usage ?? And also how many users should access dashborad ?? How would i know this all ??

Our currently supported package includes a qlikview analyzer which might be used for scripts you are building now.

QV Scalability Tools (QV10,QV11)

If it does not work right off the bat it can at least give some ideas on how to build a qlikview to analyze the results, otherwise the summary report in jmeter provides some information.

As for how many users accessing the dashboard, that is nothing we can answer on - that is dependent on your particular business case. However,there are several articles and documents here on QlikView Scalability that contain useful information regarding the subject that can be of interest.

HEy,

when i am trying to use jmeter alone , i succeeded a bit but it is little confusing and again and again i need to add Standard components and all which is trouble some.

If i go through QVScalability tools, should i ahve to do same or i just need to make test scenario only ??

Hey ,

I tries QV Scalability tool and make a small POC and create a test scenario . An XML is also generated.

But what to do next after executing created script.

How to analyse cpu , ram usage?? How to get number of users that can access concurrently at a time??  Are there any logs created ?? How to analyse them ??

I have gone thru the documents also but cannt find anything useful.

Plz help.

test? How different qvw are made? Wat i have to do for this? Plz tell the

steos. I have studied the documents but didn't get what to do after

Inside the Analyzer subdirectory of the Scalability Tools is a file called "User Guide for the Analyzer.pdf" where you will find the answer to these questions.
