Database developer with DB2 9.7. What is the future scope of this ?

I am working as a database developer with DB2 9.7. I have 1 year experience with DB2 9.7 tool. In my company Database developers have are work as a different team. What is the future scope of DB2 9.7 because people says there is no future working as database developer?

This is a Qlik community. DB2 is not a Qlik product. Perhaps you should ask IBM about their plans with DB2.
