Reload after task failed

Hi community,

Is there any possibility to make task reload again and again if it failed until the successful reload?

Found the solution by myself.

It can be done using EDX and technical QVW which reloads on event Fail from main task and the only thing it does - lauch main task via EDX.

Hi Yuriy,

There is no possibility to reload any task if it failed.

may be you need to check Trigger oprtion in QMC.

You can do it in this way as well from QMC..

Edit your task >>> go to Triggers tab >>> In Task Execution Options Section, Set Number of tries of your choice

Since you have posted this in Publisher section, so it seems and I assumed that you are running a QV Publisher. If yes! Then open your QlikView Management Console. Under Status tab go to Tasks tab and edit the task for which you want to increase the Number of tries.

Just done some quick research in this regard. Actually Number of tries for execution of task is based on Timeout i.e. 24 hrs (1440 mins) here. So you have to enter an average task execution/completion/failure time in Timeout so that it will give it another try.
