Hi Bhawna,

You can use NPrinting to recreate a QlikView pivot table in Excel very easily. Please follow this tutorial: http://community.vizubi.com/knowledgebase/articles/261214-how-to-create-an-excel-pivottable-report

Feel free to contact Support if you need further assistance.

Best,

Daniel.

Hi Bhawna,

I'm not sure what you mean by adding set analysis or conditions in an Excel chart. If you add the PivotTable chart into the NPrinting Excel report template, your resultant report will contain a straight table. You will get a similar result if you use the QlikView 'Send to Excel' option. Currently, the only way to create an Excel pivot table is to build it in the report template. You can then leverage the myriad Excel formatting options. You can use the steps in the link I sent earlier or in this one: http://community.vizubi.com/knowledgebase/articles/261211-how-to-create-a-pivot-table-from-excel-tab...

Hope this helps.

NPrinting does not allow columns wise formatting on qlikview pivot table.Formatting works on entire table instead of each columns. You can work around by creating levels and cloning and converting pivot table to straight table.

If you can elaborate your problem maybe i can help you more.

Nprinting does not really support pivot tables as true pivots directly from Qlikview to Excel - they are exported to Nprinting the same way as if you exported the pivot to Excel (that is due to the Qlik function that is called - it is the same one when exporting to Excel).

If you bring in the table as a pivot table, it is treated by Nprinting basically as an image - you cannot format any rows or cells and the appearance is slightly differernt than how ti looks in QlikView.

Since you cannot foramt the table, one option that I have used, especially if the table does not take more than a page, is to bring the pivot table in as an image.

If it needs to be a true pivot in Excel, I agree with Daniedl, that it has to be brought into Nprinting as a straight table and converted in the tempalte to a pivot
