Server consistently fails to start and error message

Hi,

I am running QVS on my laptop alongside QV11.

All was fine for a long time; recently I have noticed in "services" that the QlikView Server fails to start automatically and I have to start it manually (which seems to work fine).

This morning (as well as the above) I received a "WerFault.exe" error and when I looked at the event viewer (Win7) I saw that there were over 100 errors of the order:

System.Exception: Failed to retrieve document list from the specified QVS

   at QMSBackendCore.Service.ServiceImpl.GetUserDocumentList(Guid qvsID)

   at QMSBackendCore.Service.ServiceImpl.Diagnostics.CacheDocumentAvailable()

Can anyone throw any light on this?

Hi, you should exclude QVS from Windows Error Reporting Service.

Which of the QlikView services fail to start? Your example error message seems to be generated by the QMS. Does this mean that the QVS is running (but maybe inaccessible?)
