How to connect to Salesforce from Qlik Sense?

New to Qlik and just downloaded the app, and trying to see if I can connect to SF. There is no standard driver available as far as I can see. Do I need to install a third-party connector? Which? Is that something that will be available in the future releases out of the box?

Hi Kausik,

To use Custom Connect, you need to enable Legacy Mode in Qlik Sense Desktop, which you can find the instructions for here:

I have now downloaded the current SFDC connector v12 and used the following syntax:

CUSTOM CONNECT TO "Provider=QvSalesforceConnector.exe;BatchSize=500;UseBulkApi=false;Url=https://login.salesforce.com/Soap/u/31.0;QueryMode=Query;UserId=dfwegfwrgregerge;Password=234fX3pPNP...";

The error which is now coming is as follows :

QlikView Connector is not responding.: CUSTOM CONNECT TO "Provider=QvSalesforceConnector.exe;

QVSource also works with Qlik Sense (and includes a Salesforce Connector) although you also have to enable legacy mode.
