License question

We had 25 documents CALs originally and we purchased another 12 Document CALs. How do I go about updating the license count?

Should I be receiving a new license key, etc?

you should receive a new LEF file with updated numbers of licenses ; you paste it and update in the management console

you may be asked to supply the control number that you got in the first place

HI Amit,

you should of received a document from Qlik detailing the new additional cals, this should refer to the original Licence number details.

If your server has internet access and can connect to the Qlik licence enabling server, then navigate to the Licence screen in QMC, enter your control code and click 'update licence from server'.

license key is same just u have to ...

QEMC---System---Licenses----QliKView Server Licenses--click on "Update License From Server" button on bottom.

tht will update ur LEF file and show all ur cals on ur server.

Thanks for your advice guys.

The server does not have access to the Internet so I guess I would need that new LEF file.

I am waiting for our vendor to provide this to us.

u can get ur LEF  from verdor.

In Case you don't have internet on server.

Make sure you have your Licence key, Control Number and updated LEF from vendor.
