V9 Access for external users

Hi,

Whats the best way to provide access to qlikview reports to users that are external, not on the same network? (easiest, secure)

Well, 2 ideas come to mind. You could create a Custom Directory DSP and expose the login interface to the external users. Or you can send links to the QVWs (in web format) to the users and control access through Section Access. Or some combination of both.

Publish the QVS server thru a reverse proxy software/appliance, that's all, Regards.

Also do I need to install IE plugins for these remote users. That me be an issue!

What is a reverse proxy software/appliance, have you an example and can you give me more details....
