can we change localhost:4848 to system-name:4848?

Hi All,

Can we somewhere edit the settings in order to avoid the error "

Could not Reach http://localhost:4848/hub with error (-324)."?

This works when in browser, we put the url http://<system-name>:4848/hub, we can work in browser normally as we work on Qlik Sense when not in our organizations' network.

But when we are organizations' network we face this issue in the Qlik Sense desktop.

Any suggestions are highly appreciated.

Are you trying to do this for Qlik Sense Desktop?

You need Server component to deploy your solution in your organization.

Hi Phaneendra!

Yes, I am trying to modify the setting for Qlik Sense Desktop which doesn't work on the company's network. It is on our laptop that's connected on the network we need to work on.

Right now what we do is (as we are on the company's network):

1. Open Qlik Sense Desktop

2. Open browser, and type in the address bar : http://<system-name>:4848/hub

3. Continue working on the browser based environment of Qlik Sense..

I would like to know if there are any setting somewhere, any config file or .ini file where i can point Qlik Sense Desktop to work on the url "http://<system-name>:4848/hub" and not on "http://localhost:4848/hub".

As far as i know you cant do that. And for these kind of deployments Qlik Sense has a server component but you have to pay for the tokens.
