Text Formatting

Hi,

This is a nice simple question i'm sure...

Does anyone know if i can make selections go BOLD and RED AFTER it has been selected.

E.g.

If i have a LIST BOX (presented as Windows Check Boxes), i would like all unselected fields to stay BLACK but selected fields to turn RED and BOLD so they stand out more.

If i choose to use QLIKVIEWS CLASSIC style then the selections would highlight GREEN, but i want to use the windows check boxes.

Is this possible?

I think that you can not to configure the list box how do you want.

This layout is predefined on qlikview and you not can change.

Hi,

I think this is not possible. Please refer the below thread:

Hi, its not the GREEN i want to change, as the green only appears if i select Qthe QLIKVIEW CLASSIC STYLE. If i select the WINDOWS CHECK BOX STYLE then all that happens is tick appears in the check box when selected. I want to make the selection (the description of what has been selected) turn RED and go BOLD while the unselected items stay black.

The answer is still the same. You can't change how it looks. Well, not directly. You might be able to fake something up by sticking a chart on top of the check box values, and formatting the text in the chart so that it LOOKS like it is the check box values. Since you can change the formatting of the fields in the chart, that might let you simulate what you want.

Yeah, it kinda works, probably well enough. Have a look at the attached.

Better version attached. There was no need for the extra field.
