access point saves the user name and password even after signing out

Hi Experts,

I am using chrome  for the access point.

when i sign in for the first time it asks for the user name and password , after signing out when i click on the sign in button again it automatically logs me in without asking for any credentials.

Now even if i close chrome delete the history and go to the access point and sign in it still automatically logs me in.

This is not desired as i want to login using another user id and password to check my user rights for the application.

How do i get around this problem.

I do not have this problem with internet explorer through.

Regards,

Nadeem

After logging off and closing all instances of Chrome, open the task manager to Processes and check whether there any instances of chrome.exe still running. You will have to kill these from the task manager (right click and "End Process". That should prevent it from caching the username.

Hi,

Do you also clear the cookies or just the history? Does it makes any difference if you clear the cookies as well?

Good luck!
