charting - Floor Plans

folks,

I'm currently looking at Qlik desktop for a particular BI project, but in so doing a question has been raised about another possible means of visual delivery. Rather than charts, lists or maps is there any mechanism to incorporate floor plans?

for example a multi-storey building with a number of rooms on each floor, these rooms in turn would be highlighted in colour determined by the data value!?

open to any suggestions in this regard

Hi Wayne,

for QlikView we have the svgMap extension which does it. You will find it on branch.qlik.com

There is nothing similar for Qlik Sense yet but could be adapted.

Search for posts on SVG maps and INKSCAPE that should give you the info you need.
