Why do not need to install IIS on Qlik Sense Server?

Hi all,

do we need to install IIS on a Qlik Sense Server in order to run Qlik Sense QMC or Sense Hub? and why we do not need IIS on Qlik Sense Server?

on the other hand, i remember Qlikview Server needs IIS ...

Hey Jim,

QlikView shipped with QlikView Web Server so you did not _have_ to use a different web server like IIS.

For Qlik Sense we have something we refer to as the Proxy. This is essentially our web server that handles the authentication, serving up content and correct routing.

Does it mean that Qlik Sense are not using any standard web server like Apache?
