Adding description to bar chart

Hi all,

I have 4 bar charts in a sheet. I need to add  a description to each bar chart.

I tried footnote, reference line but it is not good. Is any other way to add description to the bar charts.

can you not use SUBTITLE?

You could also place a text object next to or under each chart if description is long but utilising Title, Subtitle, Axis labels, Reference lines and Footnote should be ample to give most charts context.

I already 5 bar charts in a sheet and it's not good to had 5 text object in a sheet. Is there any way to had a text objects in different sheet and link that sheet with this sheet or with the bar charts?

Hi,

You can create Text Objects and then display message in that or else display messages in other sheets and provide link

I have a pdf of description regarding the sheet. Is their any way to add a link in a sheet for the pdf, where user can download the pdf and see the description of the sheet.

yes i used the text objects. but i am not getting which url pattern should be used.

can you explain how it is used? i have my file in my qlik sense server and  i have to link it to the sheet.
