Trigger on Open Doc and Activate Sheet

Hey,

I want to show data for max of date. So i put trigger on Activate sheet to select Max of date.Also i put same trigger on Open of document.

So, does putting same trigger on Open Document and Activate sheet is same thing or different ?

actually it's same thing

Trigger on open document will be performed once (on opening)

while Trigger on sheet activation will be performed each time the user

changes to the sheet

it depends on your requirements where the Trigger is placed

AFAIK The OnOpen trigger is not supported by the ajax client
