Shaping the textbox to a uniform format. Like copy layout.

Is there a way to copy the textbox size to another textbox object. Just like you would copy the layout/colors of an object and paste it on another object?

Its not very accurate to shape all text boxes to the same size by hand.

( i dont want to link the objects. because the texts are different.) Wish I could link them only on formatting for example. Not on content.)

Select All text boxes by mouse

now size any single text box which will be applied to all text boxes you have selected.

Go to View

Toolbar

Design

Now select any text box and click on Format Painter Tool from design toolbar

Now click on 2nd text box.. You will get same color and layout.

If you already have an existing text object that layout and size you would like to reuse - you can always copy and paste (but don't use Paste Sheet Object as Link option, just a normal paste). In that case all of the settings will be transferred to the new object. At the end of your work it's always worth checking the position and size of the newly created object - you can always manually update it - Properties > Caption tab
