changing the binary name of app

Hi all,

I am using the binary name of app to access the app from our website.

As i need to add some sheets to the published app, i duplicate it and added the new sheets and deleted the old and published the updated.

The binary name of app is now changed. Is it possible to change the binary name of the app in qlik sense server.

No, but next time don't delete the already published app.
Instead when you are ready to publish the updated copy you can tick the replace app box, select your original app and then publish.

That will overwrite your already published app with your updated copy and you will retain the same IDs, file names etc.
