Colour formating in Pivot table

Hello I have a pivot table which takes data from a table which has a field which holds the colour in the form of "red()".

I think there is a bug when 1 row has 2 values and in a pivot table the two cells are merged. Colour option doesn't not work well on merged cell? Does some one have a solution? Attached demo app.

Thank you,

I wanted to do it for the dimension, but I copied the formula that you suggested for the expression it worked!!

Do you think it's possible to have this colour coding without an expression? as I have added a dummy sum(1) only so that the colouring works. As without the expression the colouring deosnt work ...

Yes you can use an expression in the Background color and also in the text color, in dimension and also in expressions
