The NPrinting scheduling issue

Hi Expert,

I have created an NPrinting to send the report by email.


And  I put that file into the NPrinting server, and start the service. But I can't get the report at the scheduled time.

How to solve this issue?

Can you please share some screen shots.

first thing to check is the service log

usually it's in the c:\users\public\documents\nprinting\log

in the log

you check if the service started to run your schedule

if yes you probably encounter an error

if not go back to your nsq file and check the desired schedule

by this order:

1. check that the schedule is active

2, check that you assigned a job to the schedule

3.run the job manually and see that you got the desired results

if you don't find anything there

then recheck that the nprinting server is running

by opening the management console and verifying that the service is started

when you say you cant get the report at the scheduled time, does that mean it is generated at another time, or not generated at all?

I wiuld suggest looking in the server log file towards the bottom - any errors being encointered when trying to create the report, such as cannot access a file, a job not associated with a schedule, etc. will be in the log file

This issue that you are reporting is likely due to an incorrectly configure NPrinting server service.
