the host name is the name/ip address of the server where the NPrinting service resides.  This is needed so when you make an on demand request, the NPrinting service/web service is called and it needs to know where it resides

If you are able to run the On Demand Objects correctly in your QVW to generate On Demand reports, then you have successfully installed and configured On Demand.

If you cannot access the On Demand objects inside the Qlikview Accesspoint, you may have the following issues:

1. Firewall is blocking port 9000, 9001

2. You must disable Web View in the QVW before viewing the On Demand object in the Access point.

3. You do not have a supported web browser to view the On Demand objects (Should be ie: 9.0 or higher).

4. The path to the NSQ is invalid. Check the full file and folder path in the On Demand object. It must be the full path to the nsq. For example: \\servername\sharename\mytestproject.nsq or c:\NPrinting\NSQs\mytestproject.nsq
