Comparing 2 different dimensions

Hi.

I need to compare 2 different dimensions in a bar-chart (e.g. 2 company-divisions).

The data looks like this:

     division, month, sales

The bar-chart shows the sales per month for the chosen division.

What I now need is to compare this division with another one; best, if this one can be chosen as well.

How can this be done ?

Reinhold

Hi,

How are you selecting the division?

You could use a filter to choose how many divisions you are interested in, such as:

Hope it helps,

yes - filter works.

But if I need to compare a single division with, let's say with the total group-sales ?

Total Group-Sales is no division which can be selected

That is true but, in this case, you can add a 'Reference Line', under the 'Add-Ons' Tab.

Try the expression Sum(Sales)
